EN// So, I finally found the motivation to blog. I have been in England for more than three weeks now and I still can't get enough of it. I am very happy to be back and I really enjoy my free-time here. Until I continue my studies in Leicester at the DMU, I will be working as an Au-Pair with my old hostfamily. They were really happy to have me back and it's a pleasure to work for them again. Since I have been here I have met people from Spain, Sweden etc. and they are really fun to be with! Most of them are Au-Pairs, too. Apart from that, I went to London last Friday but it was way to crowded and hot! YES, HOT! ;) The weather is pretty awesome and I can enjoy the sun to the fullest since I try to sit outside in the sun as much as possible. However, Josie and me are still trying to find a property which is harder than expected. Most of the agencies do not respond to any emails, so we have to call them, which also seems to be a problem since all of them are busy and get annoyed easily by any questions you ask them. But, we finally had a viewing on Monday for a 4-bedroom apartment at 2pm. So I had to catch the train at around 11:00 to get to Leicester on time. And I after I have viewed 283928409234 apartments, I found one, which is a really good offer. We will pay 75 pounds per week per person, including bills and internet. Besides that, we do not have to pay any deposit or fees. Note to everyone that wants to go to the UK for their semester abroad, calling those agencies WILL NOT help. Try to come here earlier and start looking for a room early enough, since most of the apartments are gone already (or the best ones). And if you want to have a modern, new build apartment, you most definitely have to spend around 110-135 pounds per week per person. From last Saturday on I have a week off from work, so I hope I can start organising more things such as getting a national insurance number in order to get a nice part time job. Finding a part time job shouldn't be too hard and I already got told that I should try Pizza express since they are always looking for students. :) (PS: no, I did not organise anything- was too lazy to get out of my bed..). Oh and: I cooked my green curry in the UK for the first time. I missed Ronja though. And it wasn't as spicy as I am used to. :P And as a dessert we had Ben&Jerry's Cookie dough (they are freaking cheap here compared to dutch prices - 6 Pounds for two big cups). So I hope everything will work out just fine. I am not really much of a writer but more of a photographer, which is why you should keep updated! :) I will post photos asap! :)

DE// Ich hab endlich mal Motivation zum bloggen gefunden. Ich bin jetzt schon mehr als 3 Wochen in England und ich krieg immer noch nicht genug. Ich bin glücklich zurück zu sein und ich genieße meine Freizeit (davon hab ich hier viel!). Bis ich in Leicester anfange zu studieren, arbeite ich hier als Au-Pair bei meiner alten Gastfamilie. Sie haben sich riesig über meine Rückkehr gefreut und ich freu mich echt wieder für sie "arbeiten" zu dürfen :). Ich hab bereits viele Leute, viele davon auch Aupairs, aus Spanien, Schweden etc. kennengelernt und es macht Spaß was mit ihnen zu unternehmen. Letzte Woche war ich London aber es war ziemlich voll mit Menschen und ziemlich warm. JA WARM! ;) Das Wetter ist hier sehr gut und ich liege andauernd in der Sonne. Josie und ich haben jetzt auch endlich ein 4-bedroom apartment gefunden, nachdem ich dann Montag in Leicester war. Die ersten paar Räume waren der reinste reinfall und als ich bereits aufgeben wollte, habe ich dann doch noch eine Agentur gefunden, die auch ein perfektes Angebot hatte. Das apartment kostet und 75 pounds pro Woche pro Person, inklusive aller Rechnungen (Wasser, Strom, Gas, Internet). Wir müssen weder Kaution noch irgendwelche anderen Gebühren bezahlen. Seit Samstag habe ich frei, da die Familie in Ireland ist. Eigentlich habe ich gehofft einige Dinge erledigen zu können, leider war ich zu faul. Der Plan war unter anderem an eine "National insurance number" zu kommen, welche ich brauche um hier arbeiten zu können. Hab bereits einen Tipp bekommen und soll doch mal bei Pizza express anfragen, da die am meisten bezahlen und mit den Arbeitszeiten auch ziemlich flexibel sind und auch immer noch Studenten suchen. Vorgestern habe ich übrings zum ersten mal seit dem ich in England bin mein green curry gekocht. Es war zwar nicht so scharf wie sonst, aber trotzdem lecker. Und als Nachtisch gab es natürlich Ben&Jerry's, welches hier seeeehr günstig ist (6 Pfund für zwei große Becher).
